22-memebr new federal cabinet has sworn in Friday;
meanwhile President
Asif Ali Zardari administered oath to the newly
appointed ministers at a ceremony here at
Aiwan-e-Sadar.
Later on Cabinet
division has issued the notification of the
portfolios given to the cabinet members. According
to notification Minister for Interior Rehman Malik,
Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Babar
Awan, Minister for Finance Revenue and Economic
Affairs Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Minister for Defence
Ahmed Mukhtar, Minister for Inter-Provincial
Coordination Raza Rabbani, Minister for Industries
and Production Mir Hazar Khan Bajarani, Minister for
Railways Ghulam Ahmed Bilour, Minister for Kashmir
Affairs Mian Manzoor Wattoo, Minister for
Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan,
Minister for Communication Arbab Alamgir Khan,
Minister for Science and Technology Changhez Khan
Jamali, Minister for Religious Affairs Syed
Khursheed Shah, Minister for Textile Industry
Makhdoom Shahbuddin, Minister for Postal Services
Sardar Umer Gorecha, Minister for Food and
Agriculture Asrarullah Zehri, Minister for
Environment Samina Khalid Ghurki, Minister for
Privatization Syed Naveed Qamar, Minister for

Shahbaz Bhatti are members of the new federal
cabinet.
Hina Rabbani Khar took
the oath as State Minister for Foreign Affairs.
Whereas the charge of eight ministries, including
ministry of water and power, human rights,
information technology and telecommunication,
defence production, petroleum and natural resources,
overseas Pakistanis, ports and shipping, housing and
works will remain with Prime Minister Syed Yousuf
Raza Gilani.
Prime Minister Syed
Yousuf Raza Gilani, members of parliament and PPP
leaders were also was in the ceremony.
According to the
sources, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime
Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani hold consultation
on the name of Makhdoom shah Mehmood Qureshi for
inclusion of his name in the new cabinet.
According to the
sources on time Shah Mehmood Qureshi refused to take
oath in the new cabinet.
Meanwhile Qamar Zaman
Kaira, Raja Pervez Ashraf and Nazar Muhammad Gondal
have been assigned important responsibilities to
activate party in the masses and in this regard
important decisions already have been made
